“GRUNI ‘Children for Children’ Winners Visit Brussels”
Winners of Grigol Robakidze University’s flagship project, “Children for Children,” have returned from an inspiring study visit to Brussels.
Their journey began with an immersive tour of Brussels’ iconic landmarks, followed by four days of high-level meetings at key European Union institutions, including the European Commission, European Economic and Social Committee, Council of Europe, Parlamentarium and the House of European History.
During the visit, students explored the EU’s major priorities, future policy directions, combating foreign information manipulation and Europe’s strategies for addressing modern global challenges.
The group also travelled to Bruges, renowned for its stunning medieval architecture and cultural charm.
The “Children for Children” project initiated by GRUNI professor and Chair of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, Sofio Kiladze was held for the third consecutive year. The initiative aims to empower young people as active members of a democratic society, foster respect for national identity, and cultivate values of compassion, tolerance and solidarity.
