GRUNI Students Shine at International Youth Art Exchange in Cyprus

From 11–19 November 2025, the international youth exchange project “Empowering Young Artists in Europe’s Digital Landscape” took place in Cyprus with support from partner organization GYDA. Three students from GRUNI’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Sesili Kharadze, Tata Adeishvili, and Nanuka Kuchadze, represented the university.

Held under the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange Programme, the project aimed to enhance young artists’ creative, digital, and intercultural skills. Participants engaged in workshops covering visual arts, music, dance, Photo Voice, vocal training, and performance art, alongside group discussions on migration, diversity, and inclusion.

Intercultural evenings and collaborative activities allowed participants to share their traditions and culinary culture. A highlight of the project was a simulated Eurovision contest, where mixed-country teams presented original artistic performances, demonstrating creativity and international cooperation.

Fully funded by Erasmus+, the program emphasised the importance of personal, professional and intercultural development through active participation in global initiatives.
