Lela Goginava, Assistant Professor at Grigol Robakidze University and Director of the Center for Migration and Diaspora Studies, took part in and moderated the opening session of a workshop jointly organized by the IMISCOE Standing Committee on Education and Social Inequality (EduSocial) and the Migration, Mobility and Ethnicity Research Group (CIES-Iscte) at the University Institute of Lisbon.

As an expert within the IMISCOE network and the initiator of the workshop’s theme, she was invited to serve as one of the event’s co-organizers. The program also included a research presentation co-authored by Goginava, further highlighting her active academic contribution.

The workshop brought together researchers from diverse career stages—PhD students, early-career scholars and senior academics creating a platform for collaboration, intellectual exchange and discussion of emerging research in the field.
