With the support of Grigol Robakidze University, medical students Zuka Kirkitadze and Barbare Devdariani organized a presentation for their social project titled “Breathe Freely.” The initiative focuses on raising awareness among young people about the harmful effects of tobacco use and promoting responsible decision-making.

Based on up-to-date medical research, the project explains how smoking negatively impacts health—affecting both active and passive smokers—and how it contributes to environmental pollution and reduces overall quality of life.

During the interactive session, speakers underscored that smoking is not only a personal habit but also a broader social issue. They highlighted the importance of making informed choices and taking responsibility for one’s own well-being as well as for the health of others.

The presentation included the distribution of informational materials and a meaningful discussion on healthy lifestyle habits, with active participation from students.

Grigol Robakidze University reaffirmed its commitment to supporting student-led social initiatives that foster a healthier, more responsible future generation and contribute positively to the development of society.
